Come on down to the 14th Annual Spring Brews in Todos Santos Plaza, Concord on Saturday, March 29 and join us at Tasty's Tasting Room. We'll have thirty (YES 30!) taps of our delicious DOZE Homebrew flowing for all.
Look out for the Tasty's Tasting Room tent with Tasty's caricature. If you don't know who Tasty is, ask any one of the DOZE members pouring taps while you get your beer.
Our March 31 2025 meeting will be our very own Trevor McGuire and Jon Koerber reporting back on their experience in Cusco, Peru judging at the Gran copa y encuentro latinoamericano de cerveceros caseros (Great cup and latin american meeting of home brewers).
We'll learn about Chicha, debunk some common misconceptions, and hear about their overall experience in Peru.
See you there!
At February's DOZE club meeting Ken and Jordan gave a very interesting and informative talk on harvesting, culturing, and propagating yeast from previous brews, and even from nature. The talk included a live demonstration of how to perform a yeast cell count.
Join us Monday, January 27th, 6:30pm at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, for our DOZE meeting! We are back from Winter break and I'm excited to see you all there!
Fire & Rocks!!
This month's presentation will be a DOZE panel discussing the historical process of using rocks to heat mash and boil wort!! The club officers new and past will be presenting our experience.
Social Table
Don’t forget to bring a growler of your home-brewed beers, meads, or ciders for the Social Table.
Another great DOZE Holiday Party under wraps! A great time was had by all. The raffle was awesome thanks to our generous sponsors, and the dessert competition was –as always– off the hook.
Thank you to all who made it such a great success, and a big thank you to the outgoing club officers, and a hearty welcome to the incoming Club President and officers.
Happy Holidays, everyone! And here's to a great 2025!
DOZE club members, it’s the most wonderful time…for DOZE beer! It’s a time to don some holiday cheer, share a great meal and bring out our best holiday beers, meads, and ciders with other DOZErs, as we celebrate another DOZE Members’ Christmas Party! Monday, December 9th, 6:30-9:00 pm, at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek.
This is the main event that keeps this club funded and we want to see you all there.
A huge thank you to all participants in this year's California Homebrew Competition (CHC), its 46th year!

Thank you all, and we'll see you next year!

For those of you coming to Thomsen Hop Farm on Saturday the 17th for the tour and picnic. Please be there before 11. Tour starts at 11 and lunch around noon.
This is a really great opportunity that we were presented with to check out a functioning hop farm right in our back yard….and in the middle of harvest. We have about 30 folks on the list from all the local clubs.
