Hello DOZEers! We have three events upcoming which will offer opportunities to share our brews and to educate the public about our hobby.
First up is the San Ramon Valley Rotary Club BeerFest BBQ on Feb. 29th in Danville. Some of us poured homebrew there last year and it was great to interact with a whole new segment of the public. This year the Mad Z’s are heading up the organizing of the beer. There is a sign-up sheet in the “Events” channel on Slack.
Next, we have the Brewing Network’s Spring Brews Festival on March 28th at Todos Santos Plaza in Concord. DOZE will be organizing the homebrew tasting tent this year, and we hope to get participation from several other clubs. Each participant gets a ticket to the event for every 5 gals. of beer s/he donates. Sign up via the link on the “Events” channel in Slack.
And, of course, there is the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival in Martinez on April 18th. DOZE has been pouring beer at this event since it’s inception almost ten years ago, and we have partnered with the organizers to share homebrew at other events during the year. This is the biggest public event that DOZE takes part in and we like to go big. As with other events, you’ll get a ticket to the event for each 5-gal worth of homebrew you donate. As usual, sign-up via the “Events” channel in Slack.
