What got you into home brewing?🍻

Jordan: I discovered the MoreBeer store in Concord one day. I also visited the home brewers tent at the Bay Area Craft Beer festival. I don’t remember which happened first, but once I got a catalog from MoreBeer, I started dreaming of making my own beer at home. My wife bought me my first equipment kit as a gift (Okay, I bought it for myself as a gift from her.), but it sat around for a while before I actually made my first brew.

How long have you been brewing?

Jordan: Almost six years

What do you brew best?

Jordan: Lagers and kettle sours have been big winners for me at competitions, but I love brewing many styles.

Do you have a favorite brewing tip you’ve picked up along the way?

Jordan: Relax. Don’t Worry. Have a home brew.

Why DOZE?

Jordan: I wanted to hang out with other people that brew! I discovered The Brewing Network, and when I emailed them about joining a club, they pointed me to DOZE. I went to my first meeting in Oct. 2015, and the rest is history!
