Please bring (2) beers of your Scottish Ales or Irish Ales to the 2/27 Meeting at 6:30.
Have them in a 4 or 6 pack carrier. Print (3) copies of the Beer Score sheet (PDF). Fill out your full name, phone number, email address, and correct beer style category on the very top of the score sheet. Rubber band a copy of the sheet to each of your beers.

Anyone up for an informal club trip to the Double IPA Festival at The Bistro on Febuary 11th? We’ll be taking BART, leaving the Plesant Hill station at 10:52am and getting to Hayward at 11:43am. We’ll probably stop somewhere between BART and The Bistro for a quick bite to eat before we hit the crowds and the double IPAs. Wear your Tie-Dye, it’s a blast of an event.
$20 gets you a commemorative glass and 5 drink tickets.
The Bistro’s Annual Double IPA Festival will be held February 11, 2006 11am-7pm

This was a great event last year. Great beers from Russian River, Lagunitas, 21st Ammendment, and dozens more.
DOZE had a good showing at the Firestone Walker 2nd Annual Homebrew Invitational on Jan 26. Congratulations to Mike McDole for his 2nd and to Jim Rossi for his 1st place — both in the Pale Ale category.
