We had a great holliday party last night! Tasty food and lots of good beer. If anyone has pictures they’d be willing to share, please e-mail them to me or you can upload them to Flickr and tag them “clubdoze“. A few quick reminders: The annual planning meeting will be coming up at the beginning of January. We will be holding Club Elections at the January meeting (1/29/07), please give some thought to running for a club office.

JJ has graciously offer his new brewery (which isn’t quite finished yet) for our annual party. This a DOZE gathering in which we encourage our members to bring their spouses or significant others. We have planned for Monday Dec 11th. This will be catered and should cost around $20/person (the details are being finalized now). We are also able to bring our own homebrew to this venue (which has been a problem in the past).

It’s that time of year again. The DOZE Holliday party is just around the corner. We’ll be getting together on Monday December 11th at 6:30pm at the new EJ Phair Brewery out in Pittsburg (Google Map). If you didn’t sign up with Rachelle at the November meeting, please make sure you RSVP to Rachelle no later than Monday December 4th. The cost is $20 per person, and it looks like we’ll have an impressive multi-course catered meal.

In addition to Jon’s awesome achievement, DOZERS came through with a whopping 35 out of 68 medals awarded!! Way to go Jon and congrats to all DOZERS for bringing it strong. Results here.

Just a quick reminder that this coming Saturday, November 11th it the 28th Annual California State Homebrew Competition. Stop by to watch the judging and see our own Jon Plise named Sierra Nevada Homebrewer of the Year! The fun starts at 10 AM and runs to 7 PM at the clubhouse in Stern Grove.
