DOZE Homebrewer of the Year 2017
We will once again hold the DOZE Homebrewer of the Year competition for 2017. The purpose of the HOY is to recognize DOZE members competing in competitions and provide an award for the club member that best represents DOZE in competitions over the year. Check here throughout the year for the HOY Standings.
DOZE members score points towards HOY by competing in BJCP competitions under the DOZE homebrew club. One point is awarded just for entering a competition and more points are awarded based placing in the top three with a bonus for winning best in show.
2017 Club Goal of getting more members Recognized as BJCP judges
First off I want to thank Jeremy Pendrey for his presentation last night about becoming a recognized BJCP judge. As he outlined the first step is to pass the online entrance exam. Below you will find links to all the resources he cited to help towards that first step. I also encourage us to share any other resources or organize groups outside of our meetings to study.
The next step is taking the actual Exam.
