DOZE’rs,
We will be meeting in a different room at Lindsay tonight due to some construction in our normal meeting spot. They said we will have the “Buckeye” room located upstairs at the museum. I will be arriving earlier than normal to scope it out and help with directions/signage to the temporary meeting location.
See you all at the meeting tonight and at the Hop Grenade after for the Tasty IPA event!
When: Sun, August 20, 11am – 3pm
Where: Mullford Gardens, San Leandro, CA 94577, USA
What: Pot Luck, bring some food and your awesome home brew to share. Mead and Ciders work as well 😉
Family friendly, I hope to see you all there!
Cheers,
Vito

Spring is the time of the year with the most competitions. The cool winter weather make it easier for home brewers to make their best beer with minimal temperature control equipment, or none at all! Scheduling your brew days with styles that will peak in the spring will give your beer the best chance and scoring awards.
If you have brewed your recipe many times, you probably know when your beer tastes the best.

As discussed in last month’s club meeting, we’re looking for some assistance in creating occasional content posts on the website. No HTML or coding skills are required. If you know of some relevant brewing or beer content and can type, we’d appreciate your contribution. How does it work? See the Contribute page, or navigate there manually from the Members menu at the top of this page.
Triple Rock Brewery and Ale House is hosting the first-ever Nuclear Free Strong Beer Festival on May 19th starting at 4pm – 9pm, featuring the rarest and coolest BIG beers. There is no admission charge and proceeds go to support the Lindsay Wildlife Experience, the museum in whose building DOZE holds its monthly meetings and one of the main wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers in our area.
We can assume, given the name of the festival, that Tactical Nuclear Penguin will not be on offer.
