DOZE Meeting Location

DOZE meets in the Community Room at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek, CA. The Community room is on the ground level of the Museum on the East (Larkey Park) side.

Directons to the Museum:
From San Jose & South Bay
Take 680 North past Highway 24 interchange in Walnut Creek. Take the Treat Blvd./Geary Road exit and turn left over freeway. Go three more lights and turn left on Buena Vista. Turn right on First Avenue. The museum is halfway up the block on the left.

From San Francisco & Oakland
Take Highway 24 east to Walnut Creek. Take 680 North. Take the Treat Blvd./Geary Road exit and turn left over freeway. Go three more lights and turn left on Buena Vista. Turn right on First Avenue. The museum is halfway up the block on the left.

From Concord & North Bay
Take 680 South to Treat Blvd. exit. Turn left at light onto North Main St. Turn right on Geary Road. Turn left on Buena Vista. Turn right on First Avenue. The museum is halfway up the block on the left.

By public transit
Take BART to the Walnut Creek station. Take the County Connection Route 102 bus from the BART station. The bus stop is on the corner of First Avenue and Buena Vista, one-half block east of the museum. Please be aware, that you can get a bus to the meeting, but bus stops before our meetings typically end. It is a mile walk from the museum to the Plesant Hill BART stop. A taxi ride to/from the Pleasant Hill BART should be under $5.

By Bike and By Foot
The Museum is located very close to the Contra Costa Canal Trail and is directly on the Briones to Mt. Diablo Regional Trail.
