Club Business

Not that we need to swell Jon’s head or anything, but our own local boy made the Contra Cost TImes.

 Check it out!

Congrats, Jonny 5-0!

Hi guys, just wanted to let everyone know that JJ and Morgan are putting our Scottish 70 shilling on tap this weekend! Morgan just called me to invite me up tonight to have the very first pint and they will wait to tap it until I get there.
Come on down to the alehouse tonight and quench your thirst, woohoo!

Both DOZE and B3 are growing by leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, this means that we are quickly outgrowing the space that B3 can provide us for meetings just as B3 needs to expand into the space we’ve been using. DoctorScot has been checking out some of the local options and Jason Maineri has offered use of the clubhouse in his complex. It seems like a good space, and has affordable insurance rates to cover our consumption of alcoholic beverages. The downside is they are booked on Monday nights (BINGO anyone?).

I’ve setup a quick survey, and if you could take a few seconds to check your schedule and vote on alternate meeting times, it would be a huge help. I’ll tally the results and bring the totals to the April meeting. Feel free to drop me a mail if you’ve got any questions or related suggestions.

Don’t forget that club elections are held at the January meeting (the 30th). If you’re interested in running for a club office, make sure to be at the meeting on time. Let Dr Scott know of your intentions and be prepared to stand up and say a few words about yourself and what you think you’ll be able to bring to the job. The positions to be filled are:
President
Vice President
Treasurer

There are also two appointed positions: Competition Chair and Membership Chair
